Wedding Highlights Film :: Danielle + Jacob :: “Always Remember to Love and Laugh” :: Greenville, SC

You really couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day for this couple.  The weather was perfect, the setting was beautiful, the guests were awesome… From start to finish, it was the most ideal day any bride could have ever hoped for.

Danielle and Jacob were married in the Larkin’s courtyard in downtown Greenville and it was quite the ceremony.  Danielle Baker always does a terrific job as officiant in making every ceremony personal and feel special and this time was no different.  As she read their letters to each other that they had written beforehand, there was a complete mixture of laughter and tears in the crowd.  It was a perfect testimony to the type of relationship Danielle and Jacob have.  You could see it even more during their reception when their friends and family got up to deliver their speeches. As everyone told their stories about Danielle and Jacob and how they were impacted by their relationship, it gave you a unique glimpse into the type of people they are and the love they have for each other.

They finished the day off with Steel Toe Stiletto bringing the house down at the reception.  It was a tremendous celebration with all of their friends and family and a great way to end their wedding day.

We are so thankful that we got to be a part of sharing this amazing story with everyone.  Such a great group of people and we hope you enjoy reliving the day as much as we have!

Wedding Highlights Film :: Natasha + Travis :: “Conquer the World Together” :: Cliffs at Glassy

As filmmakers, the thing we love most about filming weddings is the fact that every story is different.  We don’t go in with a script and as shot list like traditional films.  Instead, we watch the day unfold and create a story from a blank canvas.  We let the bride, the groom, their friends and their family put paint on the canvas and then we weave it all together into a portrait that tells the story of the couple and their day.

Sometimes, you get handed a true gem during the day, something that really stands out in your mind and you’re thinking to yourself the whole time “This is AWESOME!” For us, that moment happened during Travis and Natasha’s reception.  Everyone gave incredible speeches and told amazing stories, which made it difficult for us to narrow down exactly which ones to include in their highlights film, but in the end, we chose to use the ones that best told the story of the day.

We are really proud of the way this one turned out…. The story we were able to tell.  It’s a true testament to the love these two have for each other that their friends and family got so emotional while talking about them and their lives together.  It was definitely a wedding we will remember for quite some time.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Erica + Isaac :: “The Right Key” :: Old Cigar Warehouse :: Greenville, SC

For us, there is no greater passion than telling the story of two people in love.  As filmmakers, there’s nothing better than being able to create a film like this where others can get a glimpse into the lives of two people who share such an amazing love.  In the case of Erica and Isaac, when i see two people who clearly love each other as much as they do, it makes me want to love others better.

Erica and Isaac both share a huge love for music.  Isaac is an amazing guitar player and Erica has an insane talent for singing, so it was only natural for their friend and worship leader at their church to marry them.  I love the fact that their ceremony was so reflective of their lives and their story.  You could see their personality throughout the entire video, but nowhere did it shine as clearly as during their ceremony.  The entire day was a fun as it looks on film, with everything culminating at their reception where everyone had a great time celebrating Erica and Isaac’s big day.

Wedding Film :: Jodi + Wes :: “The Piece to Each Other’s Puzzle” :: Huguenot Loft :: Greenville, SC

Jodi and Wes have such an amazing story.  When they contacted us to film their wedding, they asked us to be there during their rehearsal dinner to capture the speeches.  They knew that their friends and family would be delivering some amazing toasts and wanted us to be there to capture everything.  Needless to say, they didn’t disappoint.

After hearing the speeches at their rehearsal dinner, we could tell that both of them had played huge roles in so many lives and it was so awesome to see so many of those people come together to celebrate their marriage. I think Jodi’s dad said it best when he was marrying Wes and Jodi when he said “It was a family affair,” because it truly felt that way. Whether it was their actual family or friends that they have known so long they felt like family, so many of them joined together in Greenville to pay tribute to their love and it was an amazing thing to be invited to capture.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Mary Katherine + Zach :: “All He Did Was Smile” :: Green Valley Country Club :: Greenville, SC

We had so much fun at Mary Katherine and Zach’s wedding. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like one of the family and the fun didn’t stop all day. We knew from the beginning, we wanted to carry the fun atmosphere of their day over into their wedding highlights film.  One of Zach’s groomsmen did his fair share of helping us create this fun film.  All day, he kept asking to do interviews for the camera, so how could we resist using them in the wedding film.

Their beautiful wedding ceremony at Green Valley Country Club in Greenville, SC was highlighted by the perfect backdrop as the sun was setting over the golf course.  It made for an incredible setting for their reception and luckily the rain held off so that we could capture some footage of the two of them on the golf course after the ceremony.

Wedding Film :: Tyler + Jamie :: “Really Soon” :: Chapman Cultural Center :: Spartanburg SC

Everything about Tyler and Jamie’s wedding was awesome for us. The ceremony was awesome… The reception was awesome… The time we got to spend filming them in love was awesome… But the thing we loved most about their wedding day was the speeches at the reception. The speeches given by their best man and Maid of Honor really set the tone for our film. They paid a great tribute to their relationship while making it relevant to their wedding day. From a wedding day standpoint, these speeches helped make the day memorable for everyone there by giving them a glimpse into Tyler and Jamie’s relationship. From a wedding film standpoint, they were an amazing way for us to tell their story from the words of those that know them best.

Tyler and Jamie have a great story, one that we are so honored we got to tell. From the fun that we had hanging out with them during their prep to the intimate ceremony they had with their friends and family, we had an amazing time sharing the day with these two.
