Wedding Highlight Films

Wedding Highlights Film :: Erica + Isaac :: “The Right Key” :: Old Cigar Warehouse :: Greenville, SC

For us, there is no greater passion than telling the story of two people in love.  As filmmakers, there’s nothing better than being able to create a film like this where others can get a glimpse into the lives of two people who share such an amazing love.  In the case of Erica and Isaac, when i see two people who clearly love each other as much as they do, it makes me want to love others better.

Erica and Isaac both share a huge love for music.  Isaac is an amazing guitar player and Erica has an insane talent for singing, so it was only natural for their friend and worship leader at their church to marry them.  I love the fact that their ceremony was so reflective of their lives and their story.  You could see their personality throughout the entire video, but nowhere did it shine as clearly as during their ceremony.  The entire day was a fun as it looks on film, with everything culminating at their reception where everyone had a great time celebrating Erica and Isaac’s big day.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Courtney + Blake :: “A Home For My Heart and Soul” :: Rock Quarry Garden :: Greenville, SC

There is no question that music played a huge role in Blake and Courtney’s relationship. When we first met, they spent a lot of time going over their history with music and telling the stories about how music influenced their lives. It was an important part of their lives and they used it to tell their story on their wedding day in such a beautiful way.

Blake and Courtney left their friends and family in tears as they read their vows to each other, told their story and expressed their love to each other. The backdrop at the Rock Quarry Garden in Greenville was beautiful that day and the perfect setting for such a memorable occasion. After that, Blake and Courtney had an epic reception at Fluor Field at the West End where they spent the rest of the night celebrating with their friends and family. It was truly an amazing night for everyone that was there to celebrate with Blake and Courtney.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Jake + Brittany :: “Now it All Makes Sense” :: Chattooga Belle Farm :: Long Creek, SC

Brittany and Jake had an insanely amazing location for their wedding ceremony. The backdrop provided by Chattooga Belle Farm was second to none. We had such a fantastic time spending the day with them and enjoyed getting to know their friends and family.

Brittany and Jake had a really fascinating story about how they met each other.  They decided early on that they wanted to write their own vows to tell their story and make their ceremony more personal. Being there to hear their story and share it with everyone was such an amazing experience and I am so glad we were there to capture that moment on film.  It made for a great element in their wedding highlights film.

You definitely don’t want to miss this one as we were able to really build the video around their story since they incorporated so much about their relationship in their vows. Thanks again, Brittany and Jake for inviting us to be a part of your story!

Wedding Highlights Film :: Jessica + Jeff :: “Deeper Trails Yet to Walk” :: Country Club of the South :: Atlanta, GA

Jessica and Jeff had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church followed by an equally amazing reception at Country Club of the South. It’s no secret that music is a huge part of Jeff’s life, so it was a no brainer for him to incorporate it in to the ceremony. As a surprise to Jessica, he and the wedding party joined together to sing and play “Only You” by the Platters during the ceremony. It was a total surprise to Jessica and created a great memory that they are their guests will always remember. Needless to say, we had such a fun day all around with this great couple as you can see in the video below.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Mary Katherine + Zach :: “All He Did Was Smile” :: Green Valley Country Club :: Greenville, SC

We had so much fun at Mary Katherine and Zach’s wedding. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like one of the family and the fun didn’t stop all day. We knew from the beginning, we wanted to carry the fun atmosphere of their day over into their wedding highlights film.  One of Zach’s groomsmen did his fair share of helping us create this fun film.  All day, he kept asking to do interviews for the camera, so how could we resist using them in the wedding film.

Their beautiful wedding ceremony at Green Valley Country Club in Greenville, SC was highlighted by the perfect backdrop as the sun was setting over the golf course.  It made for an incredible setting for their reception and luckily the rain held off so that we could capture some footage of the two of them on the golf course after the ceremony.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Tina + Wynn :: “Love, Laughter & Happy Ever After” :: Harvey B Gantt Center :: Mint Museum :: Charlotte, NC

I want to go ahead and say that from the beginning I loved everything about this wedding; the location, the couple, the speeches, everything. Even before i started the editing process, I loved everything, but once I got in to the editing process, I realized I loved it even more. Rarely do we find weddings that are ALL about the couple, but this one was and that is why it was so amazing.

Every detail of the ceremony and reception venue reflected the style of the couple.  Carolina Event Design did a ridiculously amazing job at putting together a stunning venue that reflected the classic elegance of the couple. And while all of that was amazing, the one thing that I loved most was the speeches given at the reception for Tina and Wynn. Each speech given was a tribute to the couple. So many people underestimate the value of having speeches at the reception and for us, these speeches made the evening so memorable. What an amazing day and amazing tribute to this couple.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Elliot + Chara :: “For the Rest of Time” :: Biltmore Estate :: Asheville NC

Elliot and Chara’s wedding was simply amazing. They were married at the Lioncrest at Deerpark on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC. Even though there was an overcast for most of the day, we managed to hold off the rain and have their beautiful ceremony.

Chara and Elliot spent the morning in downtown Asheville with their friends and family while they were doing their prep. This is always a fun time for us to capture, because the bride and groom are so excited about their day and have so much fun with the people around them. We had a great time spending the day with them and laughed quite often with everyone.

Once the ceremony started, the emotion started pouring over every one. From the moment Chara walked down the aisle and Elliot caught a glimpse of her, you knew the ceremony was going to be full of emotion. The vows that the two of them read to each other were some of the most heartfelt emotional words we have heard. As we looked around, everyone in the crowd was completely in the moment with them and it was a truly awesome sight to see. Needless to say, it was a memorable event that we were so thankful to be a part of.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Brittany + Drake :: “Yours, and Only Yours” :: Isle of Palms, SC

Brittany and Drake had an amazing wedding at The Citadel Beach Club at Isle of Palms, SC. The weather was perfect all day and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. They decided to rent a beach house close to the wedding venue where they did all of their prep with their friends and family. It gave us a great time to capture Brittany and Drake enjoying the day with their friends and also gave us a chance to spend time getting to know their friends and family and we had a great time hanging out with all of them.

Their ceremony was beautiful and it definitely gave us a great time to bring the drone out to capture some aerial footage of their wedding location. All of this was made even more special when Brittany and Drake broke out their own wedding vows and began speaking them to each other. It was a seriously moving experience and there wasn’t a dry eye to be seen. It just goes to show that when you throw 2 people madly in love with each other into a beautiful setting and they have the freedom to exchange vows in their own words, magic can really happen.

Brittany and Drake, thank you for letting us be a part of your beautiful wedding. Be sure to watch their video below and leave a comment for them if you enjoyed the video

Wedding Highlights Film :: Jeff + Kathryn :: “You and Me Against the World” :: Asheville NC

Kathryn and Jeff had a beautiful ceremony at The Farm near Asheville, NC. Even though the entire day was a struggle with the weather, in the end, Kathryn and Jeff won and they were able to enjoy their beautiful wedding outdoors as planned. This video is one of our favorites, because it shows Kathryn and Jeff’s personality throughout the day. We had such a great time getting to know their family and wedding party throughout the day and needless to say, this was hands down one of our favorite golf outings to film; so much fun. By the end of the day, we had laughed and loved so much with these two and I am so glad that the joy of their wedding day came through in the video. These two love adventures and you can easily see this is a great start to a new adventure in their lives.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Steve + Meg :: “Someday Has Arrived” :: Baltimore MD

A lot of times, brides ask us our opinions on whether or not they should have a “First Look” the day of the wedding. Our answer is always a resounding YES! This wedding film is the prime example of why we always recommend a couple having a first look. When you watch the video, pay attention to Steve’s expression change when he sees Meg for the first time. It is literally night and day and I can honestly say that is a moment he will remember forever. In all the years we have been shooting weddings, I can honestly say that we have rarely seen a groom respond the same way when he sees the bride for the first time walking down the aisle. There is just something about seeing each other alone before the ceremony that allows you to let your guard down and truly enjoy your time together.

Steve and Meg were married at Celebrations at the Bay in Pasadena, Maryland, which is just outside of Baltimore. It is a beautiful venue with a picturesque view overlooking the bay which provided an amazing backdrop for the ceremony and our post ceremony footage. Before the ceremony, Meg spent the morning at her house getting ready with her family and bridesmaids. While we were there, we noticed an old record player which had been in Meg’s family for years. Her dad took some time to show us how it worked and we were immediately enthralled, which is when the ring shot idea was born.

Meanwhile, Steve was on the other side of town with his groomsmen. We headed over there to capture Steve and his best man putting up signs near the venue before heading back to the house to begin getting ready for the ceremony. Times like this, I wish I could make highlight videos 10 minutes long, because Steve and his groomsmen provided enough comedy to fill the video, but alas, it will have to wait for the wedding film, which we cannot wait to share (Trust us, it will be worth the wait.)

A huge thanks goes to Lee Morton over at Clickspark Films. Lee was on hand to help us out a lot the day of the wedding and he helped us capture the amazing ring shot (which took numerous takes to capture correctly, but it was worth it) shown in this video.
