Wedding Highlights Film :: Grant + Justin :: “A Dream You Dream Together” :: Toccoa Falls, GA

When a bride calls you and tell you that they are getting married outside in front of a waterfall, it doesn’t take you too long to say “Yes” to that wedding.  We knew we were in for a special treat with Justin and Grant’s wedding and couldn’t wait to be a part of their big day.

We started the day in Anderson at the Vintage Hair Loft in Anderson with our friend and photographer, Josh Wilson. While we were there, we had a great time capturing footage of Grant and her mom laughing and having fun before heading down to Toccoa.

As we arrived in Toccoa, the scene was more beautiful than we could have imagined.  Everything was perfect from the weather to the setting.  Grant and Justin even had a bluegrass band playing during their ceremony which was a nice touch and gave us the inspiration for the song we chose for their wedding highlights film.  It was such a fun wedding full of laughter and joy and we are so glad we were on hand to capture everything for them.

Wedding Film :: Sam + Dana :: “Live Love and Live Long :: Charleston, SC :: The Citadel

We were so excited when Sam and Dana asked us to be a part of their wedding celebration at the Citadel in Charleston.  We always have an amazing time when we visit Charleston and film at the Citadel and we knew their wedding wouldn’t disappoint.

When we arrived in town, we joined Dana and her bridesmaids at Lordis Salon and Spa in downtown Charleston to capture some footage of them getting ready. We had a great time laughing and enjoying the day with them before heading over to the beach house where Sam was getting ready.  After scoping out the beach house, we found an amazing place for Sam to get ready.  The beach house had a third story ocean view porch that made the perfect backdrop for him to get dressed.  Easily some of our favorite footage from the day.

When the time came for the ceremony, it was absolutely gorgeous inside the Citadel chapel.  Sam and Dana said their vows in front of their friends and family before making their exit and heading over to the Holliday Alumni Center on the Citadel campus.  It was an amazing night as Sam and Dana celebrated their new marriage with all of their friends and family.

Commercial :: Envestnet :: “The Essential Advisor” Promo Film :: Chicago, IL

Earlier this year, Envestnet contacted us about creating a film to show at their annual Advisor Summit conference in Chicago that would also promote the new book they are releasing called: The Essential Advisor: Building Value in the Investor-Advisor Relationship written by Envestnet’s own Bill Crager and Jay Hummel, with a forward by Jean Chatzky.

From the beginning, the plan was to create a story-based film that would engage advisors and tell the story of how advisors help change the lives of investors they work with.  We all agreed that it would be great if we could base the video on a true story, so we asked Envestnet to compile a list of stories that they had heard over the years from advisors that we could potentially use as a basis for the film.  It didn’t take them long to come back with a long list of stories, but one of them in particular stood out to us.

The story used in this film is based on a true story and tells the story of how a financial advisor was able to help out an entire family by helping them plan for their daughter’s future.  It was a fantastic story and we knew right away it would be the perfect way to launch their “Essential Advisor” initiative.

Once we have everything locked in place with them, we spent weeks planning, casting, writing the script and preparing our shot list.  We made the decision to film local and have Charlotte be the setting for the film since they have a huge financial services presence.  Once everything was complete, we sent it over to Envestnet for review…. and they loved it.

The film was debuted on May 18th and their conference in Chicago in front of more than 2,000 attendees and then went out to the media to help promote their new “Essential Advisor” initiative.  It is something we are so proud of a story we are so glad we had the opportunity to tell.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Erica + Isaac :: “The Right Key” :: Old Cigar Warehouse :: Greenville, SC

For us, there is no greater passion than telling the story of two people in love.  As filmmakers, there’s nothing better than being able to create a film like this where others can get a glimpse into the lives of two people who share such an amazing love.  In the case of Erica and Isaac, when i see two people who clearly love each other as much as they do, it makes me want to love others better.

Erica and Isaac both share a huge love for music.  Isaac is an amazing guitar player and Erica has an insane talent for singing, so it was only natural for their friend and worship leader at their church to marry them.  I love the fact that their ceremony was so reflective of their lives and their story.  You could see their personality throughout the entire video, but nowhere did it shine as clearly as during their ceremony.  The entire day was a fun as it looks on film, with everything culminating at their reception where everyone had a great time celebrating Erica and Isaac’s big day.

Real Estate :: Lifestyle Film :: “Best Kept Secret” :: 711 Highview Road, East Peoria IL 61611 :: Adam Merrick

In 2015, Adam Merrick contacted us to come to Peoria to shoot a condo for him.  It was one of the highest priced properties in Peoria and it had been on the market, listed by other agents, for a long time with no interest.  Adam made the decision to have us fly up there and shoot one of our lifestyle films for the condo.  In less than a week after the video went live, the condo sold because of the buzz generated by the video.

Fast-forward a year and we were back in Peoria for another real estate shoot with Adam.  We decided to take a different approach with this film since Adam wanted to target this home towards a family with kids.  Due to the amazing success we’d had in the past with kids in our videos, we decided to try it again for Adam.  We managed to find a very talented actress in the area and she took our concept and ran with it.  She killed every scene and really helped add some personality to the video that we’re sure buyers will really love.

Since the seller wanted to focus on the amazing view of downtown Peoria from the home, we made sure we featured it in every room of the house.  By combining Madalyn’s amazing personality with a fun script and amazing shots of all the rooms in the house, we were able to produce a fantastic video for Adam to use in his marketing of the home.

Wedding Teaser Film :: Erica + Isaac :: “So Crazy in Love” :: Old Cigar Warehouse :: Greenville, SC

We’ve known Erica and Isaac for a while now and when they asked us to be a part of their wedding day, we didn’t even have to think about it before saying “yes.”  Erica and Isaac share the same passion of music and Erica even runs her own live musician and disc jockey service called The Erica Berg Collective.

Erica and Isaac had an amazing ceremony at the Old Cigar Warehouse in Greenville, SC.  This is the teaser trailer we released less than 24 hours after their wedding.  We focused on a great story that Erica’s cousin told at the reception and made that the focal point while showing some of the incredible moments from their big day.  Erica and Isaac were able to share this video the very next day with friends and family that weren’t able to make it to the wedding and it was a great treat for them to enjoy on their honeymoon.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day as it’s always a fun time when you get to spend it with friends.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Courtney + Blake :: “A Home For My Heart and Soul” :: Rock Quarry Garden :: Greenville, SC

There is no question that music played a huge role in Blake and Courtney’s relationship. When we first met, they spent a lot of time going over their history with music and telling the stories about how music influenced their lives. It was an important part of their lives and they used it to tell their story on their wedding day in such a beautiful way.

Blake and Courtney left their friends and family in tears as they read their vows to each other, told their story and expressed their love to each other. The backdrop at the Rock Quarry Garden in Greenville was beautiful that day and the perfect setting for such a memorable occasion. After that, Blake and Courtney had an epic reception at Fluor Field at the West End where they spent the rest of the night celebrating with their friends and family. It was truly an amazing night for everyone that was there to celebrate with Blake and Courtney.

Wedding Film :: Kiersten + Jacob :: “You Brought the Sun” :: The Lace House :: Columbia, SC

Kiersten and Jacob’s wedding was so much fun. We joined them at The Lace House in Columbia, SC for their amazing ceremony. We knew when we got there that we were going to have a fun-filled day with Jacob and Kiersten and needless to say, they didn’t disappoint. Kiersten was laid back the entire day and Jacob kept the laughs coming.  Whether we were taking footage of them or just casually hanging out with them, they had such a fun attitude the entire day and were a breeze to work with.  As we were putting this film together, we knew we definitely wanted to make sure we captured the fun feeling of their wedding in their film.  Overall, we couldn’t have been more pleased with how everything turned out.

We had a great time working with everyone and as always, our friend Melanie Murphy and her team over at By Invitation Only killed it and the Lace House looked amazing!  Always a pleasure working with those talented people.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Jake + Brittany :: “Now it All Makes Sense” :: Chattooga Belle Farm :: Long Creek, SC

Brittany and Jake had an insanely amazing location for their wedding ceremony. The backdrop provided by Chattooga Belle Farm was second to none. We had such a fantastic time spending the day with them and enjoyed getting to know their friends and family.

Brittany and Jake had a really fascinating story about how they met each other.  They decided early on that they wanted to write their own vows to tell their story and make their ceremony more personal. Being there to hear their story and share it with everyone was such an amazing experience and I am so glad we were there to capture that moment on film.  It made for a great element in their wedding highlights film.

You definitely don’t want to miss this one as we were able to really build the video around their story since they incorporated so much about their relationship in their vows. Thanks again, Brittany and Jake for inviting us to be a part of your story!

Wedding Highlights Film :: Jessica + Jeff :: “Deeper Trails Yet to Walk” :: Country Club of the South :: Atlanta, GA

Jessica and Jeff had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church followed by an equally amazing reception at Country Club of the South. It’s no secret that music is a huge part of Jeff’s life, so it was a no brainer for him to incorporate it in to the ceremony. As a surprise to Jessica, he and the wedding party joined together to sing and play “Only You” by the Platters during the ceremony. It was a total surprise to Jessica and created a great memory that they are their guests will always remember. Needless to say, we had such a fun day all around with this great couple as you can see in the video below.
