Wedding Highlights Film :: Kate + Lukas :: “Stories of the Past, Dreams for the Future” :: Salem, SC

I think it goes without saying that Kate was one of the happiest brides we have ever worked with.  It was evident on the day of the wedding, but as soon as we got back and started editing their footage, it became very clear.  We were hard pressed to find any footage throughout the day that she wasn’t smiling.  And with a wedding as amazing as hers, it is clear to see why.

Kate and Lukas had a very intimate backyard wedding at the Hettinger home in Salem, SC. With the lake as their backdrop, Kate and Lukas said their vows in front of their friends and family. You really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting.  After that, their friends and family followed them to the Keowee Key Country Club for the wedding reception. Allie and her team at I Do did an amazing job making sure the reception area was absolutely perfect.  It was truly a stunning celebration as Lukas and Kate spent the rest of the evening celebrating their new marriage with their friends and family.

Be sure to check out their video.  I bet you can’t get through it without smiling :)

Wedding Highlights Film :: Rebecca + Arzhang :: “I Keep Coming Back to Love” :: Charleston, SC

What a wild ride it was for Rebecca and Arzhang’s wedding.  They originally contacted us in the Spring of 2016 for their wedding that was planned on October 9th of that year.  Rebecca and Arzhang’s friends and family would all be traveling to Charleston for their wedding since almost everyone was from WAY out of town. Everything was set for their wedding at the beautiful William Aiken House on October 9th.

Then….. things changed.  It turns out that on October 9th, Charleston was a little busy dealing with Hurricane Matthew, so the decision was made to move the wedding, which was quite a big deal since over 100 people would also need to rearrange their travel plans.  Where this could have freaked out most couples, Rebecca and Arzhang are two of the most laid back people we have ever met and they just rolled with the punches.  Fast Forward to March of 2017 and they decided to try it all again…. This time, the results were nothing but amazing.

Rebecca and Arzhang are hands down one of the best couples we have ever worked with.  They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and were so appreciative of everyone that made the trip to be a part of their wedding.  One of the things that stuck out to us during the day was that during the toasts and their reception, their friends and family couldn’t stop saying nice things about them and telling others about what Rebecca and Arzhang meant to them.  As you can see during their vows, they are both pretty emotional people and that flowed throughout the entire wedding.

This time, you couldn’t have asked for better weather and they were able to take advantage of the Charleston sunshine and have an outdoor ceremony and reception.  Of course they prepared with a tent… because…. hurricanes…. But you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for two amazing people.

Rebecca and Arzhang, we are so honored to have been a part of such a special event in your life.  We hope you enjoy the way we captured your day and are able to relive all of the epic moments from your day through this film.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Ben + Abby :: “God’s Best For You” :: Greenville, SC

Abby and Ben had a beautiful wedding in downtown Greenville at the Huguenot Lofts. Everything about their day was absolutely perfect, from the beautiful weather, the setup and decor of their venue, and the pure emotion of their wedding ceremony.

The most memorable thing about Abby and Ben’s day was Ben’s reaction to seeing Abby for the first time as she walked down the aisle.  You could feel the raw emotion that took over Ben as Abby and her father walked down the aisle towards him and I am so happy we were there to capture that moment.  Their entire ceremony was an emotional celebration of their relationship and the work that God has done to bring them together.  They capped the entire ceremony off by having their family come down front and pray for them as they start their new life together and I couldn’t think of any better way to start off your marriage.

After the cermeony, they finished the evening with some amazing photos on the river walk and an amazing party at their reception.  It was literally one of those parties that just didn’t stop and it was a great end to such a perfect day.

We are so happy to share their film and hope that you enjoy it as much as we did.

Wedding Highlights Film :: MaryAnn + Christian :: “Everything You Have Ever Dreamed Of” :: Bushnell, FL

We had so much fun at this wedding.  In fact, everyone had a great time here and I think it shows.  MaryAnn and Christian invited us down to Florida to film their wedding and we couldn’t have been more excited about making the trip.  Their venue was in a field beside a beautiful shiplap barn sitting on 10 acres in Bushnell, FL called The Orange Blossom Barn.  Surrounded by open fields and old trees, it was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony.

Their wedding planner, Chelsea, was able to bring together a great vision for their wedding.  MaryAnn and Christian created a relaxed environment all day for their friends and family, including corn hole, a fire pit, and giant games of Jenga.  It fit perfectly with the feel of their day and was so much fun for everyone.

Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful.  The barn door reveal for MaryAnn’s entrance was perfect and you could see the emotion on Christian’s face when he watched her coming down the aisle.  Even though they did a first look, you could still feel the emotion in that moment and it only continued throughout the ceremony.

As great as all of that was, the highlight of the day for me was when we joined their photographer, Katie, and headed across the farm to an open field at sunset.  Being in Florida, you always picture beautiful sunsets, but nothing could have prepared us for the one that waited for us.  We were able to capture some insanely beautiful footage of them together in that field before the sun set and they joined their friends and family back at the reception.

MaryAnn and Christian, Thank you so much for inviting us to be a part of your wedding.  It is not a trip we will soon forget and I am so happy we were able to be a part of your day.

Wedding Film :: Amy + Jordan :: “I Did, I Do, and I Always Will” :: The Belvedere :: Baltimore, MD

The beautiful thing about Amy and Jordan’s wedding was that it was no only an amazing end to 2016, but it was also an amazing start to 2017.  They did something incredibly unique and decided to get married on New Years Eve and have their reception end after midnight so they could ring in the New Year as husband and wife with all of their friends and family… Yup… It was as great as it sounds.

We first met Amy in 2011 when we went to Rehoboth Beach, DE to film her sister’s wedding.  It was one of our most memorable weddings ever and needless to say, when Amy contacted us to come to Baltimore to film her wedding, we couldn’t wait to be there.

It was such a fantastic weekend. We love visiting Baltimore and the Belvedere was am amazing venue.  Their ceremony and reception took place on the top floor of the Belvedere and having all of their friends and family stay until midnight to bring in the New Year with them was an extra special way to start off their marriage.

We are so happy to share their film and hope that you enjoy it as much as we did.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Daniel + Presley :: “And Now There’s You” :: Spartanburg, SC

It was a day over 7 years in the making… and it was everything they dreamed it would be.

One of our favorite parts of this wedding was the incredible amount of emotion it had throughout the day.  A lot of times when planning weddings, brides may decide not to do a first look because they want that “reaction” from the groom when the bride walks down the aisle and he sees her for the first time, which is a totally valid point.  Wanna know what’s incredible about this wedding?  Daniel and Presley did a first look…. and she STILL got that emotional reaction from Daniel. Not only that, but his reaction all day long was perfect.  From the first look, to the wedding ceremony, to the speeches, you could see his love for Presley all over his face.  All day, it was priceless.  You could just see their love for each other over and over again.

We were also given an incredible moment during the reception when Presley’s dad got up to give a speech to the couple.  He said something that really made us look at the day differently.  We’ve seen the bride and her father do a first look before, but this one took on a whole different meaning for us after his speech.  It never really set in that when we capture those moments, we are capturing a time when a dad is seeing his daughter for the last time as just his daughter.  It’s a goodbye of sorts… It’s saying “You were totally mine, but now you’re his….” It was beautiful and I’m so glad we were able to capture it and build a segment in this film around the premise.

Presley and Daniel, you two were amazing and we are so glad we have a chance to capture your day and tell your story.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Ann + Vanna :: “It’s Not Hard to Fall in Love” :: Rock Hill, SC

We had a great time with this couple from start to finish.  When we arrived in Rock Hill, we started the day over at Ann’s house where we met her friends and family to begin their prep.  We had so much fun with Ann while everyone was getting ready that we knew we would be in for a fun day.

Their ceremony at St. Anne Catholic Church in Rock Hill was perfect.  They were surrounded by their friends and family as they said their vows to each other and you couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day or setting.

Then came one of the biggest parties we’ve been to this year.  Ann and Vanna had a reception to remember.  Their dances were amazing, the speeches were a great testament to Ann and Vanna’s relationship, the food was incredible, and the party was definitely memorable.

We had a great time working with Heidi Crowder Wedding Design and Love Shutter Photography on such a perfect wedding.  Ann and Vanna, thank you again for inviting us to Rock Hill to capture your day.  We are so honored to have been able to tell your story.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Daniel + Claire :: “For a Good Reason” :: Southern Bleachery at Taylors Mill :: Taylors, SC

We were so excited to be a part of Daniel and Claire’s big day.  Not only were they an extremely fun couple to be around all day, but they were also one of the first weddings to take place over at Southern Bleachery at Taylors Mill.

When we arrived, we were able to spend some time with Claire and her friends while they were getting ready and also grab some footage around the Taylors Mill.  The venue was amazing and Claire and Daniel couldn’t have asked for a better setting.

During the ceremony, we knew the minute we saw Daniel’s reaction to seeing Claire walking down the aisle that we were in for an emotional ride.  You could feel the emotion in the room as Claire and Daniel said their vows to each other and afterwards, we were able to get some private time with them up on the roof of the mill.  This gave us the perfect opportunity to capture some incredible sunset footage and also get to spend some time with Claire and Daniel away from everyone else while they just enjoyed being together.

This was a fun day indeed and we are so happy we were on hand for Claire and Daniel’s wedding day fun.  It was so great getting to see such a beautiful wedding take place at Southern Bleachery and the transformation that has taken place over at Taylors Mill.  Angie over at Culpepper Designs always does an amazing job, but this time, she really outdid herself.

Thanks again Claire and Daniel for inviting us to tell your story.  It was an amazing day!

Wedding Highlights Film :: Chelsea + Tyler :: “How It’s Done” :: Kiawah Island, SC

We absolutely loved Chelsea and Tyler’s wedding.  From start to finish, their wedding was a breathtaking display of their love and relationship and we were so fortunate to be on hand to capture it all.

When we arrived at Kiawah Island, we were greeted with a nearly perfect day at the Sanctuary. We joined Tyler and Chelsea to capture some footage of them getting ready with their friends and family and also captured some beautiful footage around the Sanctuary.

Their ceremony took place in the courtyard at the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island and it was the perfect backdrop with the ocean behind them.  They said their vows in front of their friends and family before we headed for some epic sunset pictures on the surrounding golf courses and beach.  It was absolutely breathtaking and gave us the chance to capture the two of them in some amazing settings.

After that, we all headed back to the Sanctuary for the reception and it was nothing short of amazing.  From the speeches given to the fantastic DJ, the night was full of emotion and fun and we are so glad we were able to capture everything to tell their wonderful story.

Wedding Highlights Film :: Drew + Danielle :: “The Best Catch” :: Kiawah Island, SC

Drew and Danielle love to live like to the fullest and make every day an adventure.  Never has that been more evident than during their wedding weekend.

They decided to spend their wedding weekend with their closest friends and family members in a beautiful ceremony down at Mingo Point on Kiawah Island.  It was an amazing day that allowed us to capture footage of them getting ready with their friends and family as well as some incredible shots on the beach for the first look and sunset pictures following the ceremony at Mingo Point.  The ceremony took place overlooking the sunset and water at Mingo Point.   There couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for these two to seal their vows to each other.

Following the ceremony, they had a reception for all of their friends and family, complete with oyster roast and a DJ that kept the dancing going well into the night. We absolutely loved the speeches given by their best man and maid of honor at the reception. They were the perfect testament to Drew and Danielle’s relationship and the minute we heard them, we knew they would make a perfect backdrop for their wedding film. It was truly a great celebration of their relationship and we are so happy we had the opportunity to tell the story of their day.
